    Pretty damn good IMO. I am several years late to the game but I finally got to try Giovanni's Shrimp truck after zip lining nearby because it was still pretty early and the truck wasn't opened yet! We pulled up just as they were getting ready to open up so there were no lines for us and our food came out right away, piping hot! I got the regular scampi and asked for their hot sauce on the side, as recommended by one of the employees. I know it wasn't just because I was starving that I wolfed down my plate so quickly. The food was incredible! Shrimp were plump, juicy, and easy to peel. Hot sauce wasn't that terrifying for me and the rice was hot and fresh. I loved it.

    The line is long, but moves decently fast. There is shaded. seating right in front of the truck, but you may need to fight some people for seating. If you lose, the rest of the seating areas are in the blazing sun. The scampi is oily and has loads of garlic. The hot&spicy has a buffalo type of spice to it. It is on the spicier side. I love spice and have quite a high tolerance, so it wasn't too spicy, but I've heard others complains, so beware. Overall, tasty shrimps. The rice is a little too mushy for me. But I do think it's over hyped. I'm from California, and I've had similar and better. If you have time or you're around, try it out, but if you can't, nothing to be sad about.

    Review is Long overdue, after 12 Onolicious visits throughout the years 5 Stars each and every time Giovanni's Shrimp Truck 56-505 Kamehameha Hwy, Kahuku, HI 96731 My FAVES'S F -- Flavor of the Garlic Shrimp, with those bits of garlic, fabulous A -- Always consistently delicious, main item ordered: the Garlic Shrimp V -- Very quick line, Yes--of course you wait... "Good things come to those .. ." E -- Easy to find parking and if no spaces, there is another lot nearby S -- Seating: Covered open structure, side picnic tables with shade S -- Scampi: Butter, Garlic, Butter, oh--and Shrimp, Repeat !     So in our day of island travel my wife had to stop at this island landmark and just telling from the line that the reputation is still intact! We placed our order of Garlic Shrimp and Spicy Shrimp plates and with the trade winds blowing the aroma of island cuisines filled the air. When I say deliciousness personified it was every bite was a bite of shrimp Mecca this was the freshest and most satisfying food truck meal on the island yet you gotta find this place it's worth it!
